Downlights, spots and surface lights
The main Nexia ranges we supply for ceilings and walls. Each position is specified for output, beam, colour temperature and glare.
A trimless downlight with a three-step installation that leaves a clean edge without extra plaster work. Five colour finishes, IP20 or IP54, with an LED module or GU10.
Set into the ceiling and painted with it, so only the light remains. Round and square versions with a 110 mm cut-out.
Small high-output recessed modules with UGR below 13: the light is barely noticeable when you look up. Modules of one, two, five or ten, fixed or tilting 30°.
Downlights designed to blend into the ceiling, in four sizes and any RAL colour, with gold, copper and graphite coatings for more expressive interiors.
Low-profile downlights with a textured opal diffuser and switchable 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, for ceilings with little depth.
Cylinders and boxes mounted on the ceiling or hung on a cable, for concrete ceilings and spaces without a ceiling void.
596 × 596 mm ceiling panels for offices and meeting rooms, UGR below 19 in the microprismatic version, with tunable white options.

Recessed lighting: frequently asked questions
What is a trimless downlight?
A downlight installed without a visible ring: the edge is finished into the ceiling, so only the opening and the light remain. Plaster-in versions are skimmed over and painted together with the ceiling.
What does UGR below 13 mean?
It is a glare rating so low that the light source is barely noticeable when you look at the ceiling. It is used in restaurants, hotels and homes where visual comfort matters most. Offices usually need UGR below 19.
What is dim to warm?
As the light is dimmed, its colour shifts from about 3000K to a candle-like 1800K, like a traditional lamp. It suits bedrooms, restaurants and hotel rooms.
Can recessed lights be used in bathrooms?
Yes, in IP54 versions. Tidy, Tolva and other ranges are available with IP54 protection; your electrical contractor confirms the right protection for each position.
What if the ceiling has little depth or is concrete?
Use compact downlights with minimal recess height, or surface and suspended cylinders that need no ceiling void.
How long does delivery to Dubai take?
Lighting from Europe is shipped by air and reaches Dubai in up to 5 days. Production time for each item is confirmed in the quotation.
