How to choose

48V magnetic or 3-phase track?

Both are flexible. The difference is in the look, the voltage and the kind of space.

Applications

Where track lighting works

Tracks suit spaces where the layout or the display changes: the light follows the furniture, the art or the collection.

FAQ

Track lighting: frequently asked questions

What is magnetic track lighting?

A low-voltage (48V) track where spotlights, linear modules and pendants attach magnetically. Fixtures can be moved or added without tools, and the recessed trimless version sits flush with the ceiling.

What is the difference between magnetic and 3-phase track?

A 48V magnetic track is slimmer, runs on low voltage from a converter and mixes spotlights, linear modules and pendants on one line, which suits homes, hospitality and boutiques. A 3-phase 16A track runs on mains voltage with three circuits on one rail and takes higher-output spotlights, which suits shops, showrooms and large spaces.

Can track lighting be recessed into the ceiling?

Yes. Both the 48V magnetic track and the 3-phase track have recessed versions. The 48V trimless version is plastered into the ceiling for a clean, flush line.

Which colour temperature should track spotlights have?

2700K–3000K for homes and restaurants, 3000K–3500K for retail and 4000K for offices and workspaces. Retail spotlights with CRI above 97 show fabrics and products in their true colours.

Can track lights be dimmed?

Yes. Tracks and spotlights come in DALI versions for dimming and scenes, and selected spotlights have Bluetooth control from a phone app.

How long does delivery to Dubai take?

Lighting from Europe is shipped by air and reaches Dubai in up to 5 days. Production time for each item is confirmed in the quotation.
